The first Chiropractic Adjustment was performed on the janitor at a magnet healing hospital in Davenport Iowa U.S.A. in 1895. Apparently he fell on the cobblestones in the street, hit his head and stood up deaf. D.D. Palmer felt his neck and found a bone out of place. He persuaded the man to let him put it back in place. When he did the man's hearing was restored.
